My name is Saskia, and I'm the Founder of Offbeat Goat, a travel platform for conscious and discerning travelers. We showcase a tightly edited collection of storied places that are aesthetically beautiful, transformative, and have narratives connected to sustainability. Having spent over two decades traveling and working in economic development and humanitarian efforts, I’ve shifted my focus to sustainable travel. Through Offbeat Goat, I act as curator and storyteller, spotlighting destinations that blend aesthetic appeal with positive impact. I know what I like when I see it and feel it—boutique design-led hotels, local artisans, farm-to-table restaurants, creative design spaces, and those behind-the-scenes experiences that make travel come to life. Our sweet spot, however, is finding places that are beautiful inside and out, dedicated to enriching their communities and preserving the environment. When I am not on the road, you'll find me crafting stories, filming, and writing from my current home base in Tbilisi, Georgia. 📍Tambre, BL - Italy “You’ll never know how beautiful is to travel alone until you do it!” Yes, it’s true. There is some kind of magic about travelling alone, you have nobody with you to talk with, you are alone with yourself, with your mind and with your heart. You can feel the the freedom in everysingle thing you find on your journey, in the blowing wind that uncomb your hair, in the music coming out from a crowded pub or in the noisy main street traffic of a big city, in the silence of an empty train station of a countryside small village or in the sound of the ocean while walking on a coast path with only the seagulls over your head. When I travel I like to feel the nature and the true spirit of a place, I like to walk, to see the little streets of a town, to get into a pub and have a beer or stop for a coffee, to see every unknown corner of that place, and most of all to see places that make me feel in connection with God. From the cliffs on the ocean to the top of a hill, from the last floor of a skyscraper to an old boat moored on a river. I also like to eat and drink, I often want to try the local dishes in the day and, as for now I work as a prfessional barman, sometimes to go for a cocktail tour in the night. My favorite destinations are the main cities of the Country I'm visiting and the small villages near the ocean! I live in Tambre, a small village in the venetian Alps. I traveled a lot in Ireland and UK, but also in northern France, Lithuania, Dubai and around Italy. I speak Italian and conversational in English.

📍I've lived in Western Australia for over 16 years when I lucky enough to move here as a kid, and I made sure to take the opportunity to eat my way through the best brunch places in town, hike to beautiful waterfalls and travel extensively along WA's most gorgeous south. With New Zealand so close, I've jumped into exploring the South Island as much as I could. 🏔️ My favourite activities when I go to a new place is by connecting with nature as much as I can, and of course complete with thrilling adventures! I continue to chase after sunsets, climb mountains and swim in oceans not only in Australia but across the seas with meticulously planned itineraries filled with must-do's. I am also as ready as ever to throw myself from a plane and paraglide through the air - or speed down a hill on a skyline luge at top speed! 🪂 Never passing up the opportunity for a good eat, eating your way through the best feeds in a new place is an adventure on its own. 🍛 🚗 Having been on countless road trips along WA's south to experience glittering beaches and white sand, eat tantalisingly delectable food and live in mesmerising views and stays, I am here to help you do the same and indulge in the magic of Western Australia. Danish, spontaneous, adventurous and down to earth. Hi ya! I have been traveling as much as I could since 2020 - Yep I started traveling the most during COVID. But you know what? It actually wasn't that bad. I got to live in England and France during COVID so even though it wasn't the best time to travel I decided to make lemonade ;) Since then I have done a few backpacking travels and I am currently in New Zealand. I love exploring new countries and learn about their culture. Besides that I am a sucker for sunsets and adrenalin filled experiences! I mostly travel like a fancy budgetter🥴 I don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, dinner outs or massages alle the time, BUT I think it is important to treat yourself and buy that fancy hotel if that's what you need and can afford. I have been using the most disgusting toilets, slept with cockroaches in a floating house, endured the worst thunder and lightning in a night bus and having the worst hangovers before going on a hike. All of this is surrealistic to look back on, but in that moment it just was like that. You can't really prepare to go take a shit in a hole almost standing up. It just happens if you really have to. - Sorry for the nasty images in your head. I'm just trying to say that traveling is to me so much more than just going to a beach with the clearest blue water or watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand. I have personally evolved and exceeded limits I never thought I would have to all thanks to being able to travel to other countries. Even though I might've scared you a bit, I promise, it's all worth it. I'm here to help you through the good and the not as good parts of traveling to other countries, but first, I need to ensure that you're prepared, confident, courageous, enthusiastic, and ready to go get the world.
