Personally I love exploring new countries and places, but I do also get itchy feet very fast. So, what I prioritise in my own planning is a bit of adrenalin filled experiences, beaches or hotels with pools to cool down, local areas where I can get a bit more information about how it really is to live here and learn about their culture. So, if I were do plan your trip I would listen to your needs and priorities and if I don't know the place yet, then I will do a lot of research on what's worth visiting and what would YOU enjoy. I can plan anything in the budget end, luxurious end or in between, just let me know what you prefer. I am a very spontaneous person and that would maybe reflect a bit on my planning BUT that doesn't mean I won't take YOUR needs into my planning. It just means, that I want you to be able to feel free and have a few days to do what you feel like or just relax so every single moment won't be planned, as that will be a stress factor in my opinion. I have travelled to Iceland with my parents in law and their 2 foster children (3 y/o and 8 y/o) - who I adore - but that was the first time I've ever travelled with kids before. And this is when I learned that it's totally different to travel with children EVEN if it's not yours to take care of. Because they have needs and they won't always fit into your fully planned day. Therefor if you're a family I would definitely bare that in mind, and make it as flexible as possible so you won't have to stress on your vacation. Conclusion: I will make the itinerary as personal and suitable for YOU as possible with my travel expertise. I will try to plan a trip with time to relax or explore on your own when you arrive and still make sure that you don't feel like you're missing out on anything at the end of the day. I am very detail-oriented when it comes to traveling so I'd rather say I can do it in 5 days and deliver in 3 that saying 3 days and not be content with my performance.
