As for many people around the globe, my favorite hobby is looking forward to book a trip! I just love spending hours in creating perfect travel itinerary with all the details covered and all the needs met! With experience in tourism high - school and college education, tourism jobs in Dubrovnik area, one of the tourist centres of Croatia from young age, meeting a lot of tourists and understanding their wishes and needs, making international friendships, being a tourist through the whole Europe area, I have collected a lot of knowledge how to make your next trip perfect and totally suitable for you! I usually travel solo or with couple of people, but also have experience in creating trips for larger groups and couples. I mostly travel by using the public transport, that is in my opinion the best way to discover a new city or country. You get to see a lot of the environment while going from place to place. It also means that I am specialized in organizing the best routes by train. What I love the most about travelling is meeting new people. That is why I usually stay in hostels, it is a great opportunity to meet like minded travellers and it is way cheaper obviously. 📍Tambre, BL - Italy “You’ll never know how beautiful is to travel alone until you do it!” Yes, it’s true. There is some kind of magic about travelling alone, you have nobody with you to talk with, you are alone with yourself, with your mind and with your heart. You can feel the the freedom in everysingle thing you find on your journey, in the blowing wind that uncomb your hair, in the music coming out from a crowded pub or in the noisy main street traffic of a big city, in the silence of an empty train station of a countryside small village or in the sound of the ocean while walking on a coast path with only the seagulls over your head. When I travel I like to feel the nature and the true spirit of a place, I like to walk, to see the little streets of a town, to get into a pub and have a beer or stop for a coffee, to see every unknown corner of that place, and most of all to see places that make me feel in connection with God. From the cliffs on the ocean to the top of a hill, from the last floor of a skyscraper to an old boat moored on a river. I also like to eat and drink, I often want to try the local dishes in the day and, as for now I work as a prfessional barman, sometimes to go for a cocktail tour in the night. My favorite destinations are the main cities of the Country I'm visiting and the small villages near the ocean! I live in Tambre, a small village in the venetian Alps. I traveled a lot in Ireland and UK, but also in northern France, Lithuania, Dubai and around Italy. I speak Italian and conversational in English.

Hi, I'm Jaya. I backpack full time around the world, always on a carefully curated budget. Somehow, I end up with loads of free accommodation, in rural areas of countries with locals, at festivals with a free wristband or travelling an entire country in a van for next to nothing. How I get through most of my trips is a shock to even me, but I always pull through with some of the most amazing experiences. I've been trying to figure out how I can best help others begin their travel journey, spend less or have a smoother ride. Thatch fell right in my lap and I couldn't be more thrilled to test this out! I want to be available for personally curated travel advice, for trip tips / guides to cities you've never been. If you need budget help I'm all over crunching numbers (weirdo, I know). I just have so many conversations with friends in my orbit, and I know in my heart I can help some others out there. Some highlights of my trips I'd love to share tips on; I flew from Australia to Europe for $360aud. I travelled in a van from north to south Portugal for $300aud for a whole week. I've volunteered in rural Indonesia teaching a muslim community English, I donated $90aud and I had free accommodation, transport and food for the entire 10 day stay. I managed to get 7 weeks free accommodation across a European Summer one year & saved thousands of dollars. I also want to mention, I'm a massive advocate for dining out, good coffee and good wine. I'm not much of a shopper, but will buy something if my wardrobe wouldn't survive without it (vintage, yes please!) I do travel very light with a 30L backpack that covered me for 5 months straight, & I still haven't seen the brand go viral yet? Everything I've learnt feels far too good to gate keep. So here I am ready to put it all on the table just for you.

I love to explore cities by foot, taking in the sights and culture at a leisurely pace while talking to as many locals as I can! Good food, drinks, and coffee at reasonable prices are important to me. I spent a about a year traveling Europe as a solo-backpacker and I loved every minute of it! Now I am a teacher and married and we travel as often as I have school breaks. I spend my weekends on romantic getaways and my big trips are always international!
