If you enjoy hiking along a rugged coastline or in the shadow of a volcano formed thousands of year ago, Oregon is the place for you. If you enjoy finding majestic hot springs along the side of the road or crystal clear lakes buried deep within national forests, Oregon is worth a visit. Or if you are interested in checking Crater Lake National Park off your list, you must come to Oregon! As a born and raised southerner visiting Oregon three years ago for the first time, I was absolutely enthralled by the diverse landscapes from the Columbia River Gorge to the sand dunes along the coast. I was so charmed by Oregon a few years ago that I went home, packed my bags and moved cross country by myself so that I didn't have to stop exploring all that it has to offer.
Here is my guide of the best things to see on your next Oregon adventure!

Alaska - Northern Lights Winter Adventure - 8 Nights / 9 Days
Northern Lights are a phenomenon best seen in person. The destinations, to do so, are limited on when and where you can see these amazing skies. Winter season is the predominant time-frame.
Alaska, for many Americans, is a great option - no passport required.
The itinerary provided is an overall trip outline that highlights some main attractions of this rugged land.
We also list some ideas of things to do in the towns that you visit. Most towns have "Visitor Information Centers", where you can find detailed information about local events and markets as well as current available activities.
This itinerary maps out a great route from Anchorage north to Fairbanks, with the goal of maximizing the opportunities to witness the Northern Lights.

7 to 10 day guide to Oahu, Hawaii created by a "local" who lived on island. This itinerary is perfect for first timers, those who wish to avoid most of the "tourist traps", and families with young or teenage children! The guide specializes in outdoor adventure such as hiking, snorkeling, and botanical gardens. I have also included a few lesser known hidden gems in the itinerary!
The days are planned purposefully to maximize activities while including relaxed downtime. In addition, I have mapped for you the best restaurants around the island, a taste of historical and cultural attractions, and extra activities (some free!) to squeeze in, if time allows. You won't miss a thing during your Oahu vacation!

My family and I embarked on an unforgettable road trip last summer (2023). This journey was a dream come true for me, as I had meticulously planned the itinerary several years in advance. One of the absolute highlights was experiencing the majesty of Avenue of The Giants, fulfilling a long-standing desire to behold the towering trees along this stunning route.
Our road trip through northern California offered an abundance of awe-inspiring landscapes, from majestic mountains to picturesque beaches. We were able to cross off must-see destinations such as Yosemite, the Redwoods, Lake Tahoe, and Big Sur from our bucket list, and were pleasantly surprised by a few hidden gems along the way.

I've been to Vegas 8 times, and it's one of my top destinations because you can keep visiting and have totally different experiences every time! You could go there 100 times and never do the same thing. So that means you can definitely use this guide for more than 1 trip.
This guide shares all my top tips for saving money in Vegas (will save you $$$) and rounds up my top specific place reommendations - mostly budget, but a few SPLURGES if you're up for it!

Most people who visit want to do the touristy things.
But I find the most joy sharing some things that may not be on the iconic lists, but are just as fun.
This list is perfect for your second, third, and twentieth visit to the Big Apple!
