Hola amigos! Nice to meet you. I’m a proud Canadian, but I’ve been living abroad—primarily in Colombia and Uganda—for the last 20 years. I’ve worked as a journalist and a content creator, and I’ve channeled that experience into creating informative, exciting and entertaining multimedia guides and itineraries. I tend to focus on places that are less touristic and more authentic. I like to learn about my destinations by wandering around and talking to people. I plan, but I welcome spontaneity. Accordingly, my guides convey the essential information but leave plenty of room for your own exploration and discovery. Hi there, welcome to my page! Nearly 10 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and moved across the US from my childhood home in Massachusetts to Los Angeles. I had no job, and no plan, but just enough ambition to try something new that got me out of my comfort zone. It wasn't long after arriving in Los Angeles that I discovered my passion for traveling, adventure, and being outdoors. I've been exploring non-stop ever since and have been lucky enough to experience 7 countries, 25 states, and 15 National Parks. I'm an expert in west coast travel, having explored much of California, Arizona, and Utah. I'm a hiker, camper, and love to explore off the beaten path, which you'll see reflected in all of my guides and itineraries. Because of my full-time job and limited PTO, I plan my travel ambitiously, often times driving or flying somewhere on a Friday after work for a weekend. I try to fit in seeing as much of a destination as I possibly can on my trips (even if that means sacrificing some sleep!). I love traveling like a local but I'm not afraid to feel like a tourist too. I'm a "both and" sort of traveler. I want to travel a LOT so I need it to be affordable. Hi! I'm a ninteen year old girl whose hobby is traveling. You might think that I'm a little too young to know stuff about traveling and to give out advice, but I've been traveling since I was a little girl, because even though I was born and raised in Italy, I'm also half bulgarian from my dad's side, so, since I can remember, we've been going to Bulgaria at least once a year. Also, my family has always been keen on traveling and whenever we had the chance we would go away even just for a few days. I started traveling alone when I was about fifteen years old, just by going to a friend's house, and then the next year I got on a plane all alone for the first time (and haven't stopped since). I think that you guys should trust me with advice because that's honestly all I can give you, all my facts are based on experience and I wouldn't want you to miss out on what a place might offer; plus, I really love helping people and it brings me a lot of joy when they benefit from my advice, in the end it's like I also benefit, because I think that every experience, even just a small interaction with a person can be life changing.
