With a population of around 1.6 million, Stockholm is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with a rich history and culture. The city's Old Town, Gamla Stan, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe.** It's a maze of narrow cobblestone streets lined with colorful buildings, shops, and restaurants. Other popular attractions include the Royal Palace, the Vasa Museum, and the Djurgården island park. Stockholm is also known for its stunning archipelago, which consists of thousands of islands and islets.** It's a popular destination for boating, swimming, and hiking. The city's vibrant music scene, world-class museums, and innovative design industry make it a cultural hub in Scandinavia.

Does this small Greek island in the Aegean sea is worth visiting? Definitely yes. First of all, Kos is the Birthplace of Hippocrates and also the place where the first hospital ever was created. As one of the Dodecanese islands, Kos has a rich historical heritage. Over the centuries, it has been ruled by various civilizations, including the Ancient Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Knights of St. John, and Ottomans. It has a well-preserved medieval fortress. Kos is home to several geothermal hot springs that are known for their therapeutic properties. And last but not least, Kos has a place that is renowned for its panoramic sunset views. This guide will be focused on the capital of the island that has the same name, Kos. The places will be presented to you that are worth visiting and have historical significance. Each place is equipped with valuable information. Also, the guide has a few recommendations for activities. The guide is based on personal experience.
