I’d highly recommend taking a trip to this island if you are looking for an equal mix of beach break and sight seeing in the city. Welcome to Rome! This stunning city is filled with history, the sheer size of the city means there are always new things to see and do. Whether you're taking a history tour of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill or visiting the Pope in the Vatican City this place is full of wonder. Eat some cacio e pepe while traversing through Trastavere, dink some l'ambrusco in a rooftop bar overlooking the city or see a live show in the opera district. Whatever you do, just don't forget to throw a coin in the trevy fountain. Rome is the city where one visit is never enough.
