Lives in Johnson City, TN, USA
US native. Former resident of Romania. Current solo female globe trotter. I've traveled to Ireland, Italy, England, Scotland, Wales, Canada, The Netherlands, South Africa, Greece, Israel, and numerous places around the USA. I've done group tours, volunteer work, solo travel, studied abroad, and taught internationally. I lived for over a year in Romania, many years in Tennessee, and several months in England. My travel style is slow, spontaneous, and - shall we say - richly flavorful. I prefer to stay longer lengths in places instead of having a whirlwind sightseeing venture. I'll skip the chain restaurants for a hole-in-the-wall café any day of the week. I prefer a loose itinerary and remain open to what each day brings. My favorite things to do and see as I travel are... - EAT - Try whatever is local. Order the special of the day. Talk with the restaurant staff. - WALK - It encourages me to slow down, notice, and get a feel for community. - HIKE - I'm a lazy hiker. By "hike," I mean a few hours at a slow pace. - MUSEUMS - Spend an afternoon. Read the descriptions on exhibits. Talk with the docents. Buy something in the giftshop. - CHURCHES - I'm fascinated by the various ways people have worshipped the God of the Bible over centuries and across borders. Many older churches are also museums or tourist-friendly spaces. Some additionally hold regular liturgical services. - CASTLES - Castles, fortresses, palaces, big ol' houses: these places transport me back in time. I imagine the people who built, lived in, and defended them. What would they think of how we now live? If this kind of travel sounds ideal to you, follow me to easily access all the resources I've created. I'd love to help you experience slower, more meaningful travel. I have tips for how to make the most of your trip, with low stress, reasonable safety, affordability, and lots of fun. Book one of my custom services, and we'll work together to get you wheels up on your next adventure!

Curated guides, tailor-made itineraries, and insider travel tips for unforgettable adventures in Italy. Specializing in local food, wine, cocktails, and unique exploration - particularly in Rome but also in regions and towns north to south. I have experience planning trips to destinations ranging from small towns in Tuscany with a population of 29, to Italy's largest cities. My recommendations are carefully selected based on quality, location, and overall experience. Typically in centrally located areas so that you won't have to travel too far from any city center to find the best of the best - without falling into tourist traps! Ideal for solo travelers or couples, whether you're seasoned visitors or first-timers, my guides cater to those seeking a less mainstream, more DIY adventure with a mix of traditional sightseeing and authentic local experiences that emphasize the flavors of the country. What's included in my travel planning services? ONE: Planning a trip to Italy can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to finding the best places to see, do, and, most importantly, eat. My goal is to help you get clarity on what places to visit and when. TWO: Make expert recommendations based on your interests, travel needs, your travel pace, foods & drinks you love, and the experiences you enjoy. THREE: Make planning less stressful by saving you hours of research and help you to stop second guessing, narrow down your choices, and choose the best options for you. Looking forward to helping plan your next trip! Let's chat.

Lives in Montreux, Switzerland
This is not your one-week relax and chill retreat vacation recommendations at the beach. I am more of a live-my-life-to-its-fullest and make-the-most-of-my-day type of traveler. Ironically, I love equally to travel solo or with a bunch of friends/family, eat old sandwiches on a backpacking trip or lavish on gastronomic food, a spontaneous adventure where we decide at 9pm where we are sleeping or a day-by-day planned trip. No matter where, how, with whom, and for how long, I choose to prioritize the experience and memories. And with a friendly budget. Sometimes, budget friendly means only booking a room on Airbnb in order to enjoy a nice brunch. Or, going to the grocery store to balance out an expensive scenic train ride. It's all about balance! At 24 years old, I am nowhere to be a travel expert. But, I lived in 4 different countries already, across two continents, and have a google maps saturated with saved pins. My obsession in finding the best gems, hidden spots, good food, fun cocktails, and unique experiences, has brought me here. You will find a good mix of shorts spontaneous weekends trips up to longer adventures; road-trip itineraries to nice hotels; Instagram- or TikTok-inspired worthy spots to unknown local gems; photogenic sceneries to more authentic views and smells. And occasionally, great spots to relax on your adventure. Because even if I enjoy walking 20'000 steps a day, I also enjoy a good spa/beach day as well!

I have been traveling the world for 20 years, and I want to help you do the same. I am originally from Colorado, though I took off as soon as I graduated from university. Since then I have lived in ten countries and traveled through dozens more. I have learned languages, tried several new foods, walked across Spain, trained across Russia, worked on farms, and in pubs, taught English, and anything else that allowed me to keep going. My life motto is to be fearless and I try to live up to that every day. I’m currently traveling around Tunisia. I spent an entire year traveling around Argentina so I know it quite well. I want to help you discover what makes this country incredible as well! Shop my Argentina travel guides: https://share.thatch.co/Cijz I offer travel consultations too! Book here: https://nickipoststravelstuff.com/contact/ “Wow. Nicki is super knowledgeable about Argentina and actually travel in general. We discussed everything from general safety to the cost of renting an apartment long-term. My biggest takeaway was her ideas for using social media as a resource for learning about the people from the people. Great idea. Real nice gal too.” -Ray “Nicki’s consultation was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns with ease and intelligence. She’s definitely someone to talk to before you visit or relocate to Buenos Aires or other locations in Argentina.” -Paul “My family and I are about to embark on a 3 month trip through Argentina, we had been binge watching youtube videos from Nicki so we scheduled a call to dive deeper. Nicki helped give feedback to our itinerary and gave great local perspective from cell phones to don’t miss desserts. It was super beneficial to get the added insight.“ -Andi

👋🏼 Hey there, I’m Barbora! 🇨🇿 Born and raised in the fairytale city of Prague, I’ve got a knack for finding magic in every corner of the world—whether it's devouring tacos in a charming Mexican village or climbing a volcano in Guatemala 🌍 ✈️ After chasing degrees in literature (because who doesn’t love getting lost in a good story?), I packed my bags and settled on a never-ending journey through Latin America. Now, I’m living the beach life in Mazunte, Mexico, but you’ll still catch me hopping around the globe—especially if there’s good food or a unique experience involved 🏖️ 💼 By day, I’m the operations mastermind at Prague City Adventures, where I craft tailor-made itineraries and help visitors make the most of their stay in my beloved hometown. By night, I’m dreaming up new journeys across Central America for backpackers, solo female travelers, adventure seekers, and anyone else who wants to explore the world on their own terms. 🏅 What I'm good at: • getting out of my comfort zone • low-budget trips • eating my way through my low budget • solo travel & slow travel • authentic experiences • supporting local businesses 🙅🏽‍♀️ What I suck at: • splurging • wellness recommendations • luxury holidays • indoor skiing • staying at home 📷 @barcheeba ⇢ Follow me on Instagram for some travel pics and plenty of cats 🐈‍⬛

Hey, I'm Sara! Luxury Travel Designer / Travel Content Creator / Passionate Traveler 🇪🇸 Mum of 3, expat in 🇨🇱 Expert on adventure, off the beaten path, boutique & luxury trips for families, couples & groups focused on nature, sport, culture, outdoors & wellness 🌱 Here you can access my guides, itineraries and travel services. Please feel free to save, share & suscribe ☺️ I'm here to help make your travels tailored experiences that inspire you to see the world from a new perspective. Because traveling is so much more than just boarding a plane, and everyone needs a different kind of journey 🚀 🌎 I know very well most of Europe, North & South America (where I currently live), Caribbean, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Morocco, Indonesia & Australia. I enjoy slow traveling as I understand travel as a way to experience, discover and connect, creating a positive impact on the destinations we travel, in terms of environmental preservation and regeneration, and also the enrichment and well-being of local communities and cultures 💪🏼 I'm a Spanish expat living in Chile with my husband and 3 kids. 16 years ago, we lived in Mexico City, then in Madrid, later in Boston (USA), and currently (for the past +5 years) we've been in Santiago, Chile. I've traveled to +44 countries (many of them multiple times) and I don't want to stop ✈️ I've always linked my personal life and professional career (film production for many years) to the need to plan and travel. I speak four languages (the fourth one I kind of make it up, but people understand me). I'm interested in all topics, I'm curious and passionate, efficient, detail-oriented, and adventurous. I'm happiest in nature, biking with my family, spending time with my friends, walking on the beach, relaxing in a nice hotel, reading a good book in the shade, taking photos non-stop, and I have music in my veins 🎶📖🚲🧘🏻‍♀️🌿🚶‍♀️

Lives in Athens, Greece
Welcome to my page! My name is Efi, full name Efthymia and yes I am Greek. With my 4 kids we have lived in several countries including Turkey, Romania, New Zealand, Jordan, Lebanon and the Philippines. While living abroad I learned the importance of having a local's guidance and help. It is priceless. Being an expat I understand the hard way the challenges to live and explore a place. Greece, to many, is the dream vacation of a lifetime: the islands and beaches, the ruins and museums, the food and wine. I hear you! This is a beautiful say I read the other day ''𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝒂 𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕'' I am that type of a traveler that I always want to eat like a local. Meaning ..with them, trying their local food, wherever it's possible. Because they know! I know It's not easy to get that! Most of the time, you need a local to reveal the place, or invite you over to their backyard. In Greece, like in some other places, It is part of our culture and consider yourself lucky if you ever have this opportunity. Imagine clay pots with delicious food slowly cooked over the fire. Picture yourself near the water or even at the beach ..cooking and signing and letting yourself absorb the aura from the Aegean sea. Think of a group of people celebrating life, without any specific reason, just that ..getting together over the food. This is what I visualize when I hear the word ''authentic experience'' This is what I provide ..trips that include authentic experiences. Trips that will fill your mouth with tastes that you will crave back home and you will want to try again. I believe people travel to relax, to escape, to experience something different and they want the real thing, not a tourist fast food service. So, would you try to ''taste'' the culture when you come to Greece? PS. I have prepared several guides for you and I keep updating my list. So stay tuned! Feel free to contact me efi@definitelygreece.com

For the past 10 years, I've been a tour guide, leading trips all over the world, and worked at a travel agency where I created trips.
