🍁🍂 This is particularly for the autumn season (alternatives for spring available), but all these places are also very doable in other seasons. 🚙 I highly recommend renting a car. Many of these spots are still somewhat accessible by public transport, but the wait times between trains/buses aren't reliable and you may need to forego some spots.

Here's a perfect itinerary for how to spend the weekend in Kansas City exploring the best of what it has to offer! The city is a great spot for a weekend trip in the Midwest with unique local business to shop at, delicious food (barbecue!!), and fun sports teams to cheer for. Kansas City was the first place I lived after graduating from college, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart.
