Mean Mule is my favorite place to go in KC for a cocktail. Mean Mule makes agave coctails (tequila) that are worth every penny and has a wonderful south west atmosphere that is trendy and cozy. This is a must.

A true speakeasy. You go into a door in an alley way and walk in and knock, then wait for the lantern to turn on to let you in. You will walk back into time in the 20's during Prohibition and have the best coctails. Bring cash, the only accept cash- if you forget that's okay! They have an ATM.

An old school turned into bar- you can get great cocktails, learn about the history of prohibition and alcohol in KC, oh and go down a huge metal slide. It has a huge outdoor area with swings, tons of seating, and an outdoor bar! It is FUN!
