Chris is an American-Kiwi and has spent his life having amazing adventures. When he was 13 years old, his parents put him on a 40 ft catamaran and set off on an around-the-world sailing adventure. After five years of life at sea, he landed in New Zealand, where he now calls home. He has a love of seeing new places and has travelled to 30 countries. His favourite destination is currently Japan. Kris is a Kiwi and travel really runs in her veins. The daughter of a travel agent (who spent over 35 years helping his clients travel to their dream destinations), led Kris to a career in event management. She’s created epic adventures all around the globe in places like South Africa, Santorini, Hawaii and the Caribbean to name just a few. She’s been to 20 countries, five continents and she's the master at finding all the best places to stay, things to do and amazing food to eat!

Travel is my life. I travel to experience the culture, the food, and the people of the places I visit. Don't get me wrong, every now and then I like to do the touristy things or take a vacation just to relax but my specialty is finding ways to experience the culture without feeling like a tourist. My name is Sierra. I grew up in Washington, D.C., and have been traveling since I was a kid. I've lived in Costa Rica, Florence Italy, in a van, and in and out of Airbnbs across the continental U.S. while traveling with my husband and dog. I've been a digital nomad, got the girls' trip out of the group chat, and traveled solo, but most of all I love adventuring with my husband and dog. When I met my husband he had never really traveled and didn't think it was possible to travel unless you were rich.
