I am recent college grad who has been planning my family's vacations, and then my solo travels, since I was 11 years old! I'm from New York, so NYC is my specialty, but I've been all over the East and West Coasts, as well as much of Europe, and I'm looking to travel to Asia soon. Throughout my solo travels, I've learned that I prefer a balance between tourist attractions and living like a local (with a heavier emphasis on the latter). As a student, I travel on a VERY tight budget, but I've figured out how to stretch every dollar and where to compromise in order to not miss a single experience. I'm extremely passionate about traveling, and helping other people have the best travel experiences possible, so I decided to offer my skills online! I love making itineraries (whether you're flexible or on a tight schedule), building budgeting plans, finding the BEST spots to eat, and ensuring that all my fellow female solo travelers feel safe and have fun :)

Hello, we're Kim and Bam! We've been going places since 2010 - first in our home country then to neighboring countries and beyond. Our travel style used to be backpacking and fast travel (4 countries in 1 month lol) but years later, we found flashpacking and slow travel more ideal and convenient. We've had our fair share of travel misadventures, extraordinary memories and golden learnings on the road, and we want to share these to fellow travelers out there! Our trips are sometimes planned and budgeted; other times they're spontaneous and relaxed. We find the outdoors, nature activities, brunch and coffee, people watching and comfortable silence invigorating for the soul. Welcome to my (and hopefully our) adventures! I have lived all over the United States, and I have a passion for the outdoors and budget-travel. My style of travel is easy-going, yet filled with adventure and excitement. I focus on connecting with people and community, as well as immersing myself in the outdoors as much as possible. Finding a balance between these two have led to some amazing memories, and I cannot wait to share them with you. Most recently, I lived in my car for over seven months, while I visited every National Park in the lower 48. I hiked, camped, met amazing people, and hiked some more. I got to experience the parks like a local, because I had no timetable, no flights to catch, no rental car to return, etc. Some parks I stayed only for a few hours, and others for over a week. I chatted with park rangers, stayed with people that lived nearby, and camped with others at some amazing campsites. The travel guides I share give you an "insider" look at the national park, with tips for the best hikes, tricks for finding campsites (but I always include hotel options too), as well as information about the various aspects of the parks. I hope that you will use these guides as tools to fuel your next national park adventure!

Sarah Pollock is a twenty-something-year-old traveler, creative, and spiritualist. She graduated with a degree in Business Information Systems (although she did not enjoy it) and a minor in Sustainability from the University of Florida. Since embarking on her first trip abroad to Australia and New Zealand at 15 years old, she has since visited 25 countries and counting- most of them solo. She is also an avid foodie, reader, concert-goer, sitter at coffee shops, introspective thinker, and champion of small businesses. She prides herself on her romantic and nostalgic approach to seeing the world, which is reflected in the hidden gem-filled and slightly sentimental tone of her writing and recommendations. She recently spent this past school year splitting time between Tel Aviv and Be’er Sheva, Israel; teaching English to underrepresented and underprivileged children in both Hebrew and Arabic-speaking schools. She is currently continuing this work in Madrid. Danish, spontaneous, adventurous and down to earth. Hi ya! I have been traveling as much as I could since 2020 - Yep I started traveling the most during COVID. But you know what? It actually wasn't that bad. I got to live in England and France during COVID so even though it wasn't the best time to travel I decided to make lemonade ;) Since then I have done a few backpacking travels and I am currently in New Zealand. I love exploring new countries and learn about their culture. Besides that I am a sucker for sunsets and adrenalin filled experiences! I mostly travel like a fancy budgetter🥴 I don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, dinner outs or massages alle the time, BUT I think it is important to treat yourself and buy that fancy hotel if that's what you need and can afford. I have been using the most disgusting toilets, slept with cockroaches in a floating house, endured the worst thunder and lightning in a night bus and having the worst hangovers before going on a hike. All of this is surrealistic to look back on, but in that moment it just was like that. You can't really prepare to go take a shit in a hole almost standing up. It just happens if you really have to. - Sorry for the nasty images in your head. I'm just trying to say that traveling is to me so much more than just going to a beach with the clearest blue water or watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand. I have personally evolved and exceeded limits I never thought I would have to all thanks to being able to travel to other countries. Even though I might've scared you a bit, I promise, it's all worth it. I'm here to help you through the good and the not as good parts of traveling to other countries, but first, I need to ensure that you're prepared, confident, courageous, enthusiastic, and ready to go get the world.
