Ann-Sofie Remaut
Lives in Ypres, België
Hi there lovely souls! My name is Ann-Sofie (but everybody calls me Anso), I would describe myself as an easy-going, adventurous and spontaneous human being. I am 26 years old and I live with my boyfriend and two dogs in Belgium. In our spare time we are always exited to explore parts of this wonderful globe, with and without the dogs :'). We love exploring Europe with our rooftop tent and recently we've been to our first Asia trip to the Philippines. My travel journey started back in January 2022 where I did my first solo trip to Portugal. After that trip, it felt like something changed. I felt totally recharged. Now I remind myself to that feeling and I continue to book these solo trips now and then. You learn SO much about yourself, about your values and beliefs, your strengths and weaknesses. It's a never ending journey. Whenever I travel, I prefer exploring off the beaten tracks and to spend as much time as possible in nature (beaches, mountains, the ocean, hiking ...) but I also enjoy local authentic villages. I love to try new things, but I always need to push myself a bit. On the other side I also love to take some deep inner rest and to focus on my wellbeing. I recently started a travel Instagram with my boyfriend @soulfuljourneys_be - feel free to give us a follow. We help personalizing your trip and give you some raw travel content. Other than that, we love sharing a glimpse of our life. For me, travelling will always be a way to get out of my comfort zone. To learn about new cultures, talking to local people, trying out new things and taking time to sit and reflect with my thoughts. I am so eager to find the most authentic places that touches your soul. So it happens quite often that I plan last minute and impulsive trips. I do research to save places on Google Maps. Most importantly is that I always try to avoid the touristy places, because in the end those are not the places you will remember for a lifetime.

Amy Is Going Places
New Pro
Lives in Johnson City, TN, USA
US native. Former resident of Romania. Current solo female globe trotter. I've ventured to more than a dozen countries across four continents as part of group tours, volunteer work, solo travel, studying abroad, and teaching internationally. I lived for over a year in Romania, many years in Tennessee, and several months in England. My travel style is slow, spontaneous, and - shall we say - richly flavorful. I prefer to stay longer lengths in places instead of having a whirlwind sightseeing venture. I'll skip the chain restaurants for a hole-in-the-wall café any day of the week. I prefer a loose itinerary and remain open to what each day brings. My favorite things to do and see as I travel are... - EAT - Try whatever is local. Order the special of the day. Talk with the restaurant staff. - WALK - It encourages me to slow down, notice, and get a feel for community. - HIKE - I'm a lazy hiker. By "hike," I mean a few hours at a slow pace. - MUSEUMS - Spend an afternoon. Read the descriptions on exhibits. Talk with the docents. Buy something in the giftshop. - CHURCHES - I'm fascinated by the various ways people have worshipped the God of the Bible over centuries and across borders. Many older churches are also museums or tourist-friendly spaces. Some additionally hold regular liturgical services. - CASTLES - Castles, fortresses, palaces, big ol' houses: these places transport me back in time. I imagine the people who built, lived in, and defended them. What would they think of how we now live? If this kind of travel sounds ideal to you, hit the Contact Me button! I'd love to help you experience slower, more meaningful travel. We'll discuss tips for how to make the most of your trip, with low stress, reasonable safety, affordability, and lots of fun. Lives in Saugatuck, MI, USA
Take your travel advice from someone who has lived there 👀 When I started traveling full-time, I learned very quickly that travel burnout is real and changing destinations every couple of days or even weeks was really not for me. I quickly pivoted to slow travel and now spend 1-3 months in each destination I visit. Spending more time in fewer locations means I am able to truly immerse myself into local culture and connect with the community on a deeper level... And it also means I can provide the best travel recommendations! Through my own in-depth experience and tapping into knowledge of the locals I meet along the way, I'm able to provide high quality travel tips to help you make the best out of your trip! I specialize in USA Travel, where I've explored 46/50 states extensively (with plans to reach all 50 by the end of 2025). I am a proud Michigan native and will never pass up the opportunity to introduce more people to it's beauty! My work has been featured on tourism boards such as UP Travel (MI), Saugautck/Douglas (MI), TN Vacation (TN), Visit Kentucky (KY), and more. While I specialize in USA Travel, I also love sharing my international adventures. Most recently, I spent one month chasing the Northern Lights in Norway and have also traveled extensively through Europe and Central America. Check out my guides for all the insider tips you need to top destinations, or contact me to help craft your perfect trip!

Emilie La Gavi
Lives in Montreux, Switzerland
This is not your one-week relax and chill retreat vacation recommendations at the beach. I am more of a live-my-life-to-its-fullest and make-the-most-of-my-day type of traveler. Ironically, I love equally to travel solo or with a bunch of friends/family, eat old sandwiches on a backpacking trip or lavish on gastronomic food, a spontaneous adventure where we decide at 9pm where we are sleeping or a day-by-day planned trip. No matter where, how, with whom, and for how long, I choose to prioritize the experience and memories. And with a friendly budget. Sometimes, budget friendly means only booking a room on Airbnb in order to enjoy a nice brunch. Or, going to the grocery store to balance out an expensive scenic train ride. It's all about balance! At 24 years old, I am nowhere to be a travel expert. But, I lived in 4 different countries already, across two continents, and have a google maps saturated with saved pins. My obsession in finding the best gems, hidden spots, good food, fun cocktails, and unique experiences, has brought me here. You will find a good mix of shorts spontaneous weekends trips up to longer adventures; road-trip itineraries to nice hotels; Instagram- or TikTok-inspired worthy spots to unknown local gems; photogenic sceneries to more authentic views and smells. And occasionally, great spots to relax on your adventure. Because even if I enjoy walking 20'000 steps a day, I also enjoy a good spa/beach day as well!

I have been traveling the world for 20 years, and I want to help you do the same. I am originally from Colorado, though I took off as soon as I graduated from university. Since then I have lived in ten countries and traveled through dozens more. I have learned languages, tried several new foods, walked across Spain, trained across Russia, worked on farms, and in pubs, taught English, and anything else that allowed me to keep going. My life motto is to be fearless and I try to live up to that every day. I’m currently traveling around Tunisia. I spent an entire year traveling around Argentina so I know it quite well. I want to help you discover what makes this country incredible as well! Shop my Argentina travel guides: https://share.thatch.co/Cijz I offer travel consultations too! Book here: https://nickipoststravelstuff.com/contact/ “Wow. Nicki is super knowledgeable about Argentina and actually travel in general. We discussed everything from general safety to the cost of renting an apartment long-term. My biggest takeaway was her ideas for using social media as a resource for learning about the people from the people. Great idea. Real nice gal too.” -Ray “Nicki’s consultation was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns with ease and intelligence. She’s definitely someone to talk to before you visit or relocate to Buenos Aires or other locations in Argentina.” -Paul “My family and I are about to embark on a 3 month trip through Argentina, we had been binge watching youtube videos from Nicki so we scheduled a call to dive deeper. Nicki helped give feedback to our itinerary and gave great local perspective from cell phones to don’t miss desserts. It was super beneficial to get the added insight.“ -Andi

Lives in Athens, Greece
Welcome to my page! My name is Efi, full name Efthymia and yes I am Greek. With my 4 kids we have lived in several countries including Turkey, Romania, New Zealand, Jordan, Lebanon and the Philippines. While living abroad I learned the importance of having a local's guidance and help. It is priceless. Being an expat I understand the hard way the challenges to live and explore a place. Greece, to many, is the dream vacation of a lifetime: the islands and beaches, the ruins and museums, the food and wine. I hear you! This is a beautiful say I read the other day ''𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 𝒂 𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕'' I am that type of a traveler that I always want to eat like a local. Meaning ..with them, trying their local food, wherever it's possible. Because they know! I know It's not easy to get that! Most of the time, you need a local to reveal the place, or invite you over to their backyard. In Greece, like in some other places, It is part of our culture and consider yourself lucky if you ever have this opportunity. Imagine clay pots with delicious food slowly cooked over the fire. Picture yourself near the water or even at the beach ..cooking and signing and letting yourself absorb the aura from the Aegean sea. Think of a group of people celebrating life, without any specific reason, just that ..getting together over the food. This is what I visualize when I hear the word ''authentic experience'' This is what I provide ..trips that include authentic experiences. Trips that will fill your mouth with tastes that you will crave back home and you will want to try again. I believe people travel to relax, to escape, to experience something different and they want the real thing, not a tourist fast food service. So, would you try to ''taste'' the culture when you come to Greece? PS. I have prepared several guides for you and I keep updating my list. So stay tuned!
