Hey! My name is Tom, a Roman obsessed with his city. I was born in Rome and grew up here till the age of 12, before moving to the UK and living there for almost 10 years. I am half Italian (from my mum's side) and half English (dad's side). I still spent a lot of time in Rome and Italy, visiting all my friends and family multiple times a year. I've previously worked as a chef for almost 8 years, including 4 of these in a Michelin recognised Italian restaurant. A few years ago I decided to move back home, as I felt it was the right place for me and where I wanted to be long-term. I now work as a freelance translator. My full time job is as a School Leader of Social and Emotional Learning in Philadelphia. All my travel is done on school breaks and in the summer. I have still managed to visit over 36 countries and countless cities along the way. Being a teacher my whole life is about planning and I do believe I am exceptional at it. I work VERY hard to plan incredible trips and now you can hopefully benefit from that as well!
