I am here to take the stress and worry out of planning your big trip!  We have traveled to over 45 countries ourselves (both with our kids and before), and I have planned successful trips for dozens of other clients, just like you!

Our kids are (as of writing this) 8 and 10, and we love exploring the world together!  I understand deeply what families with kids need in a vacation plan, and I will collaborate with you to take care of everyone's wish list and accommodate the unique needs of each member of your family.

I love planning authentic, immersive trips that help you experience the place that you are visiting in a deeper way.  Of course, we are going to see all of the highlights, but I also love to help you dig deeper and curate for you some unique experiences and sights that give you a deeper perspective on the place that you are visiting.

As I mention in my bio, unlike many of my colleagues on Thatch, I have actually been a travel agent in real life.  Making a trip look pretty on paper is one thing, but designing and executing trips in real life can be completely different.

Regardless of which package you choose, I will need to get some more details about you and the experience you are looking for from your trip.  It is really important to me to get to know you so that I can craft the right vacation for YOU.  Once I receive your order, I will reach out to you by email to get this information.

I will get to work with what you tell me curating a custom itinerary for you based on what you tell me.  I dig into all of the details, and then we tweak it based on your feedback...these trips can take up to 10-15 hours of work to plan and book!

If you choose the "Luxe" package, I will take care of making and double checking all of your bookings for you!  This is the ultimate easy button...I will send you over all of the confirmations attached in your itinerary!

Are you looking to get a taste of Slovenia as a part of your larger Europe itinerary?  Slovenia is an amazing country to visit with kids, and it an easy stop if you are already visiting Venice or Northern Italy, or exploring epic Austria.

Here are three short Slovenia itineraries that will help you get a taste of the huge diversity of sights and activities Slovenia has to offer.  These itineraries for seeing Slovenia in 3 days is geared towards families with kids, but the stops that I have included are iconic Slovenia highlights for any traveler.

Three Different Ways to See Slovenia in 3 Days

I know that sometimes, you don't need someone to plan your whole trip, but you are just looking for someone to do some of the digging and research for you.  That is EXACTLY what I am here to help do for you!

Immersive, authentic travel is my jam!  I love digging deep to find your things that you can't find on every "Top _____ things to do in __________" list on the internet.  I look for the places and experiences that will really give you a deeper perspective of the place that you are visiting.  I love finding hidden gems!

I specialize in family travel (my kids are 8 and 10 as of this writing) and so I understand the types of experiences and sights are a good fit for families at various ages and stages.  I love seeing how travel expands my own kids' perspective.  I would be honored to research activities and experiences in your chosen destination that will create lifelong memories that your family will cherish.

Please tell me in the questions below a little about the type of experiences you want to have on your trip.  Please note if you have a particular interest in a specific area (food tours, family activities, history, outdoor adventures, etc)

I also need to know if there are certain types of experiences that you do or do not want recommendations about (for instance, perhaps you already have your hotels set up, so you only want recommendations about activities and restaurants)

What are the ages of the travelers on the trip?

Please tell me if you have a specific interest in a certain type of sight/experience.  For instance, if you want food tours/experiences, have a special interest in history, family activities, outdoor activities, etc.

Unless you tell me otherwise, I generally provide recommendations for hotels, restaurants, sights and activities.  I generally do not include the "main" tourist sights, as I figure you can get these off of the internet in a quick search.  Also let me know if there is a category that you DO NOT want recommendations for.

Do you want recommendations for reputable guided tours and experiences of particular interest to you?

Do you need a suggestion included for a reputable transfer company?
