Saskia Veendorp
Lives in Tbilisi, Georgia
My name is Saskia, and I'm the Founder of Offbeat Goat, a travel platform for conscious and discerning travelers. We showcase a tightly edited collection of storied places that are aesthetically beautiful, transformative, and have narratives connected to sustainability. Having spent over two decades traveling and working in economic development and humanitarian efforts, I’ve shifted my focus to sustainable travel. Through Offbeat Goat, I act as curator and storyteller, spotlighting destinations that blend aesthetic appeal with positive impact. I know what I like when I see it and feel it—boutique design-led hotels, local artisans, farm-to-table restaurants, creative design spaces, and those behind-the-scenes experiences that make travel come to life. Our sweet spot, however, is finding places that are beautiful inside and out, dedicated to enriching their communities and preserving the environment. When I am not on the road, you'll find me crafting stories, filming, and writing from my current home base in Tbilisi, Georgia. We are excited to share our CityKITs - curated city guides of favourite places to eat, stay and play. Happy trailblazing!

Simone Walton
Lives in Cape Town, South Africa
Hello fellow Adventurers, If you have stumbled across my profile, chances are you share my deep-seated passion for travel. I'm Simone, your dedicated travel guru for some magical places across South Africa, even up until Namibia, and I'm here to take you on a journey through my life, experiences, and expertise. I believe that in order for you to truly feel good about choosing me as your travel companion, you should know the person behind the guidebook, the one who will help you craft memories that last a lifetime. From the earliest days of my childhood, I was imbued with a sense of wanderlust that was impossible to ignore. My dad, an avid adventurer, instilled in me a love for adventure and an insatiable curiosity about the world. As I grew older, my fascination with travel only deepened. I found myself engrossed in books about far-off places, dreaming of the day I would get to travel and do things spontaneously. I studied Interior Architecture, with a love for all things aesthetic as well as the beauty of buildings, the history behind some of them and well... the pure appreciation of them. This, oddly enough, made me more aware and appreciative of the beautiful historical architecture in the places I travel to, even extending to the small wooden cabins I have stayed in. So, what distinguishes me as your travel guide? The answer lies in my unwavering dedication to crafting experiences that appeal to your unique desires, interests, and dreams. Whether you're yearning for heart-pounding adventures, tranquil escapes, or cultural odysseys, I'm here to turn your dreams into reality. My mission is to kindle your wanderlust, provide you with invaluable insights, and help you create memories that will linger in your heart forever.

Giselle Pronesti | @aviajarlotodo
Lives in Buenos Aires, DF, Argentina
Hola! Ciao! Hi! Oi! I'm Giselle I am from Buenos Aires by birth and by choice but my life has been marked by travel since before the beginning. In fact, if my whole family had not come from Italy, I would not exist. My super powers activate when someone asks me what to eat, what to do or where to go. I am a foodie passionate about coffee, book shops, cultural plans and architecture, Argentina, Italy, Spain and Mexico are home for me but I have also many registers from my trips to Europe and South America. Curiosity and creativity are present in my daily life. When I was a child I wanted to be a flight attendant and writer. I never stopped flying or writing. If you like titles, I could define myself as: facilitator of joyful experiences and creator of stories. My CV says, I formally studied tourism, public relations, creative coaching, English, Italian, Portuguese and a little bit of French. I have a corporate past, working for an airline for 18 years until burnout and being honest with my desires made me create a profession of my passion. From those corporate years I took away planning, the importance of customer experience, many trips and great friends of many nationalities. I have always organized my own trips and for some years now, those of many people who trust me their traveler´s dreams. I deeply believe that traveling transforms. It takes us out of our comfort zone and takes us non-stop to the learning zone. The person who leaves is never the same that returns home. It doesn't matter if we travel 10,000 km or decide to see the city with the eyes of a visitor. Is the travel mindset what matters. My mission now is to help you translate your desires into unique experiences. Without stress, without investing a 1000 hours in planning and doing it in a creative and enjoyable way. Show you the best spots in my city, my country and every place I have collected in my memory during 20 years of travel.

Karoline Kjær-Hansen
Lives in Vejle, Danmark
Danish, spontaneous, adventurous and down to earth. Hi ya! I have been traveling as much as I could since 2020 - Yep I started traveling the most during COVID. But you know what? It actually wasn't that bad. I got to live in England and France during COVID so even though it wasn't the best time to travel I decided to make lemonade ;) Since then I have done a few backpacking travels and I am currently in New Zealand. I love exploring new countries and learn about their culture. Besides that I am a sucker for sunsets and adrenalin filled experiences! I mostly travel like a fancy budgetter🥴 I don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, dinner outs or massages alle the time, BUT I think it is important to treat yourself and buy that fancy hotel if that's what you need and can afford. I have been using the most disgusting toilets, slept with cockroaches in a floating house, endured the worst thunder and lightning in a night bus and having the worst hangovers before going on a hike. All of this is surrealistic to look back on, but in that moment it just was like that. You can't really prepare to go take a shit in a hole almost standing up. It just happens if you really have to. - Sorry for the nasty images in your head. I'm just trying to say that traveling is to me so much more than just going to a beach with the clearest blue water or watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand. I have personally evolved and exceeded limits I never thought I would have to all thanks to being able to travel to other countries. Even though I might've scared you a bit, I promise, it's all worth it. I'm here to help you through the good and the not as good parts of traveling to other countries, but first, I need to ensure that you're prepared, confident, courageous, enthusiastic, and ready to go get the world.
