I'm a 36-year-old card-carrying millennial, wife, mother, writer, photographer, and adventure advocate. I have been coordinating European travel for clients and their advisors for a little over a year which is pretty good for someone who rarely leaves the house. I have traveled for work the majority of my life, but always find time on each trip to find the best local spots. I've visited 49/50 states and lived in 8 states, not to mention the temporary ones I call home for weeks on the road with work. I love a good road trip with the windows down and amazing music while finding the best local coffee shops and hikes. Sometimes even the quickest trip to a nearby town is enough to satisfy the travel bug. I am a massive foodie and will always seek out the best meals to have in each city I visit. A good meal can tell a lot about the culture and the town that you are in and often is what you remember most when you leave. No trip is too big or too small to plan. I love all types of adventure and can't want to help you plan yours! It's important to find locations that give the full experience to enjoy and make you feel happy to be there and that each trip is work it.

Hi, I'm Adeline! I fell in love with Japan on my first trip there in 2013. I was lucky enough to be able to move to Fukuoka, in western Japan, in 2014. I started a fitness studio, where I led group hikes in the countryside and taught yoga classes in English to a mix of locals and expats. In my free time, I loved going to onsen, Japanese hot springs, and learning about the traditional tea ceremony. My husband and I met and married in Japan, then moved to Colorado in 2018 where I spent several years working for InsideJapan Tours as a Travel Consultant. Welcome to my (and hopefully our) adventures! I have lived all over the United States, and I have a passion for the outdoors and budget-travel. My style of travel is easy-going, yet filled with adventure and excitement. I focus on connecting with people and community, as well as immersing myself in the outdoors as much as possible. Finding a balance between these two have led to some amazing memories, and I cannot wait to share them with you. Most recently, I lived in my car for over seven months, while I visited every National Park in the lower 48. I hiked, camped, met amazing people, and hiked some more. I got to experience the parks like a local, because I had no timetable, no flights to catch, no rental car to return, etc. Some parks I stayed only for a few hours, and others for over a week. I chatted with park rangers, stayed with people that lived nearby, and camped with others at some amazing campsites. The travel guides I share give you an "insider" look at the national park, with tips for the best hikes, tricks for finding campsites (but I always include hotel options too), as well as information about the various aspects of the parks. I hope that you will use these guides as tools to fuel your next national park adventure!
