Hi! I'm Steph, and I've been an avid traveler since 2010 when I spent a month backpacking around Europe followed by a summer studying abroad in Greece. I caught the travel bug and since then I've backpacked all over Southeast Asia, lived in Mexico, embarked on Vanlife across the USA and visited 25 National Parks, traveled to South Korea and Japan, & explored a ton more in Europe (among other places!). This is not your one-week relax and chill retreat vacation recommendations at the beach. I am more of a live-my-life-to-its-fullest and make-the-most-of-my-day type of traveler. Ironically, I love equally to travel solo or with a bunch of friends/family, eat old sandwiches on a backpacking trip or lavish on gastronomic food, a spontaneous adventure where we decide at 9pm where we are sleeping or a day-by-day planned trip. No matter where, how, with whom, and for how long, I choose to prioritize the experience and memories. And with a friendly budget. Sometimes, budget friendly means only booking a room on Airbnb in order to enjoy a nice brunch. Or, going to the grocery store to balance out an expensive scenic train ride. It's all about balance! At 24 years old, I am nowhere to be a travel expert. But, I lived in 4 different countries already, across two continents, and have a google maps saturated with saved pins. My obsession in finding the best gems, hidden spots, good food, fun cocktails, and unique experiences, has brought me here. You will find a good mix of shorts spontaneous weekends trips up to longer adventures; road-trip itineraries to nice hotels; Instagram- or TikTok-inspired worthy spots to unknown local gems; photogenic sceneries to more authentic views and smells. And occasionally, great spots to relax on your adventure. Because even if I enjoy walking 20'000 steps a day, I also enjoy a good spa/beach day as well!

Hi there, welcome to my page! Nearly 10 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and moved across the US from my childhood home in Massachusetts to Los Angeles. I had no job, and no plan, but just enough ambition to try something new that got me out of my comfort zone. It wasn't long after arriving in Los Angeles that I discovered my passion for traveling, adventure, and being outdoors. I've been exploring non-stop ever since and have been lucky enough to experience 7 countries, 25 states, and 15 National Parks. I'm an expert in west coast travel, having explored much of California, Arizona, and Utah. I'm a hiker, camper, and love to explore off the beaten path, which you'll see reflected in all of my guides and itineraries. Because of my full-time job and limited PTO, I plan my travel ambitiously, often times driving or flying somewhere on a Friday after work for a weekend. For half the year I saved up a ton of money and became more and more interested in traveling. After the holidays I took my savings and set off to Spain and travelled around Europe. After backpacking through Europe I realized that I had found my passion! Welcome to my (and hopefully our) adventures! I have lived all over the United States, and I have a passion for the outdoors and budget-travel. My style of travel is easy-going, yet filled with adventure and excitement. I focus on connecting with people and community, as well as immersing myself in the outdoors as much as possible. Finding a balance between these two have led to some amazing memories, and I cannot wait to share them with you. Most recently, I lived in my car for over seven months, while I visited every National Park in the lower 48. I hiked, camped, met amazing people, and hiked some more. I got to experience the parks like a local, because I had no timetable, no flights to catch, no rental car to return, etc. Some parks I stayed only for a few hours, and others for over a week. I chatted with park rangers, stayed with people that lived nearby, and camped with others at some amazing campsites. The travel guides I share give you an "insider" look at the national park, with tips for the best hikes, tricks for finding campsites (but I always include hotel options too), as well as information about the various aspects of the parks. I hope that you will use these guides as tools to fuel your next national park adventure!

Hi! We are Katie and Joe! We quit the corporate life in 2022 after a decade of global advertising and photography experience to travel the world. We converted a 2022 Ford Transit Van to be our mobile home on wheels. Since we completed Clifford (he's big and red), we've been to Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, up the Alaskan Highway, and into Alaska. We are on a quest to see all 63 US National Parks, so far we've seen 41 in 2023 and more to come. We were both raised in Colorado but have spent the past 10 years bouncing around New York City, NY, Berlin, Germany, Detroit, Michigan. While those are fantastic places filled with wonderful memories, we are happy to be closer to our families in Colorado. We've been traveling together for almost 15 years (yikes!) and have seen 30+ countries together. From Japan to Portugal and almost anywhere between, we've seen a lot!
