During the last 7 years I have been traveling around the world and trying to find my way to live traveling. The first 3 years I hitchhiked around South America discovering my own country Peru and visiting Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador. After South America, 4 years ago I started my travels in Europe and Africa. I have been in Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, UK, Turkey, Poland and Morocco. I travel slow, I like to just get inmerse into a daily life as a local so I am the kind of nomad that spend months in one country or city or decide to move for a while in a new country and come back many times and see how a place has changed, how new people and new times in life can bring me new experiences in the same place. I volunteer while traveling mainly in hostels, I also use couchsurfing hosting or as a guest, sometimes wildcamping, sometimes I travel hitchiking, sometimes renting a car or with plane, train or buses. During this years traveling I lived in Cusco, Peru for 1 year and also in Cordoba, Argentina and lately in Istanbul, Turkiye. Planning my next destination and happy to help you plan yours!

Most of the time, you need a local to reveal the place, or invite you over to their backyard. In Greece, like in some other places, It is part of our culture and consider yourself lucky if you ever have this opportunity. Imagine clay pots with delicious food slowly cooked over the fire. Picture yourself near the water or even at the beach ..cooking and signing and letting yourself absorb the aura from the Aegean sea. Think of a group of people celebrating life, without any specific reason, just that ..getting together over the food. This is what I visualize when I hear the word ''authentic experience'' This is what I provide ..trips that include authentic experiences. Trips that will fill your mouth with tastes that you will crave back home and you will want to try again. I believe people travel to relax, to escape, to experience something different and they want the real thing, not a tourist fast food service. Hi! My name is Aleks and I have been full-time travelling for the last 7 years. During that time I visited 4 continents and 37 countries and am still discovering more. My travels started during my university years, which often meant a tight budget. Instead of giving up travel I just decided to become resourceful and find the perfect itineraries that still fit my tight budget and let me explore the world.
