Key West is Florida's most Southern point, and only 90 miles North of Cuba. Key West is Florida’s irreverent paradise, a blend of history, climate, natural beauty, cultural diversity, architecture. At night on Duval St, it is party central. Put away your inhibitions and shyness and join the fun. Key West is a very walkable town, but if you really want to experience all there is to see, rent a scooter for your entire trip. Trust me, it's a blast.
I decided to take a long weekend solo to Key West. What a fun town to chill, explore and party in. I tried to hit all the well known sites during the day, and some great bar and grills at night. Mission accomplished. Mallory Square at sunset is not to be missed. Also, if it's pristine beaches you are wanting to experience, KW might not be the place for you. There is only one public beach (Smather) that has 1/2 a mile of white sand that is worth spending time at (in my opinion). This guide will lead you to all the best places to hit up while you're in Key West.

Welcome to the most geographically diverse country in the world, the U.S.A.! This guide is written based off of a road trip that we took in late 2020. The full itinerary is a little over three weeks (23 days, 22 nights), starting and finishing in Orlando (where we were living at the time).
The best part about the itinerary? It's a loop! Allowing you to start and finish wherever. This itinerary is 100% personalizable and as many stops can be added or removed as you'd like. This route offers some amazing places, including the beaches in Florida, the deserts of the southwest, and the coastlines of California.
The most optimal time to take this road trip is during the summer as you'll find the best weather everywhere. But because we're mainly down south, you can take this road trip in the winter without too much trouble in the snow.
This itinerary includes 15 states, nine National Parks, 6000+ miles, and all of the costs we incurred along the way. This itinerary also includes things to see, places to eats, and our favorite things in each location. This itinerary does not include overnight accommodation, so it is necessary to find hotels/airbnbs on your own.

When most people think of Florida, they likely imagine sun-soaked beaches, palm trees, and theme parks. However, the state offers much more than just that. If you're looking for a quieter, more laid-back vacation experience, you might want to consider heading to Florida's Big Bend Region.
Stretching along the Gulf of Mexico coastline, the Big Bend Region offers miles of uncrowded beaches, natural springs, and wildlife preserves. This hidden gem is a perfect destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the typical tourist hotspots in Florida.
In this guide, we'll take a closer look at the Big Bend Region, highlighting some of its most popular attractions and hidden gems.

Florida is known for its warm climate, so it's a great destination to visit year-round.
However, the best time to visit Florida is during the winter months, from December to April, when the weather is cooler and dry.
Pensacola is a popular city in the westernmost part of the Florida panhandle. It is the county seat of Escambia County, Florida.
The cute coastal city is right on the Gulf of Mexico. Not only are there beautiful beaches, great food, the city center is historic and has tons of beautiful architecture.
