"amazing hostel! I would highly recommend to stay here. The outside area is amazing, with a big pool, a lot of fire pits for cold nights and also the food they're offering is amazing :) the staff was super friendly, clean dorms and privacy because of pod beds. Met great people here and the vibe is really relaxing. Close to the bus stop and everything is in walking/biking distance. They also got a bike rental place."

"Known as one of the liveliest hostels in Tam Coc, Banana Tree Hostel is a top pick for travelers looking for a social atmosphere. Located in the center of town, it has a great vibe and lovely grounds. Rates start around $11 USD per night, and the hostel provides all the amenities you’d expect. Be sure to book early if you really want to stay here, as rooms fill up fast!"
"Enjoy the tranquil Tam Coc lake right next to this busy but relaxing hostel which has people from around the world exchanging stories and experiences, as they stay a night or more at this hostel in Ninh Binh ( a city 2 hours away from Hanoi)."

I've spent one month exploring Vietnam so I've put together the perfect 15 days itinerary - with extendable options up to 20 days - including where I stayed (+ alternative options), excursions, restaurants and cafes I tried, all the info you need before traveling, getting around etc Planning a trip to Vietnam can be tough so you can easily replicate my trip and avoid headaches. LOCATIONS IN THIS ITINERARY -Hanoi -Halong bay -Sapa -Ninh Binh -Hoi An BUDGET CATEGORY: Vietnam is a really cheap country in general. You will find budget, mid-range and luxury options (some luxury options are actually affordable) IS VIETNAM FOR ME? Vietnam is for you if you are open to different cultures, you're ok with being uncomfortable and experience new things. This itinerary involves night bus or night train but don't worry. For most of the destinations, if you prefer, you can switch the night bus with a flight or private car. IS VIETNAM SAFE? Absolutely yes. Vietnam is a pretty safe country, like all the countries of South East Asia in general. People are very friendly and they will always try to help you in every way they can. It's actually a very common destination for solo female travelers NB this is not a PDF but an interactive guide which means that when you click on a place in the guide or map, you can directly open directions on your phone's Google Maps app, call restaurants or book hotels.
