I created a 7 day itinerary for a chilly fun filled week in Tromsø Norway.
 I tried my best to find my way through this city as cheap as possible while splurging on local guided tours.
If you have done any research on Norway you must be thinking how could someone make this a cheaper affordable trip…. I found a way!
The use of tours substitutes my lack of having a vehicle while visiting this city. This can help those who do not feel comfortable driving in the winter conditions of the artic and saving money on a rental car.

Tromsø and Senja 7-day Itinerary for the Midnight Sun Marathon

Arctic Cathedral

This modern cathedral building is an artwork in and of itself. It's an iconic landmark of Tromsø with its aluminium-coated roof panels and stained glass mosaics. The cathedral is also a popular spot for concert, so have a look at the calendar to see what's on. There are often organ recitals as well. Even when there is nothing special happening, the cathedral is worth checking out!

Built in the 1960's this Cathedral is known for it’s stunning stained glass window and the way the exterior reminds viewers of an iceberg or the Northern Lights. The Cathedral is an approximately 20-30 minutes walk from the city center.

Time needed: 10-15 minutes
Entry fee: Free

Beautifully modern cathedral. It's unique, but honestly, this may be overrated. It's enough if you drive by and see the stained glass from outside. 

This is a must visit architectural milestone, part of the most well-known attractions in Tromsø.
