"The Amber Palace or Amer Fort is truly worth visiting. In the evenings around 6:30-7pm they also have a light and sound show that takes place. I would highly recommend visiting early in the morning or towards the evening as its super hot during the day and if you would like to hike up the fort like I did, a cooler temperature would be easier. However there are also jeeps/vehicles for 2-4$ one way to take you up the fort and bring you back down. This can take an entire day almost to visit the fort, the sheesh mahal is truly breathtaking. They have a lovely restaurant 1135 AD at the fort which is worth a meal especially at night, its super romantic and you can see the entire city of jaipur from the top. On the way down from the fort the tour vehicles will all stop midway at a touristy mall with lots of Indian arts and artefacts- this can easily take 2-3 hours and if you would like to buy something local make sure to negotiate the prices. Another rule of thumb ask the vehicles to take you to the step well behind the fort first or you may miss it and it's truly beautiful and worth visiting. "
"Amber Fort and Palace, located near Jaipur in Rajasthan, India, is a majestic hilltop fortress known for its intricate architecture, stunning courtyards, and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh I, it combines Rajput and Mughal architectural styles, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit destination for history and architecture enthusiasts."
"Bargain with the jeeps that take you to the top. Spend time in the Baolis and understand the architectural influences of the palace. Definitely take a guide. "
