"With an area of 1.7 hectares, Jardim da Cerca da Graça is the largest publicly accessible green space in the historic area. It is a green space located inside the fence of the former convent of Graça, a building currently occupied by the National Republican Guard. The garden results from the requalification of a part of the fence and its opening to the public, also having a crossing function, with new connections between the neighborhoods of Graça and Mouraria, as it has three main entrances: one next to the Convento da Graça, another in Calçada do Monte, in the middle of the slope, and finally one in Mouraria, in the Olarias area (a little above the new Mouraria Innovation Center / Quarteirão dos Lagares).
The garden has three viewpoints, a central lawn, a picnic area and an orchard. It is also equipped with a kiosk with a terrace and a children's playground."
