What people say

"The Palm Jumeirah is an iconic artificial archipelago on the Persian Gulf in Dubai, UAE, designed to resemble a palm tree. Part of Dubai’s ambitious Palm Islands project, which also includes Palm Jebel Ali and the Dubai Islands, this landmark development has expanded the city’s shoreline by 520 kilometers. Housing over 25,000 residents as of 2022, Palm Jumeirah is divided into three main areas: the trunk, a hub of commercial and residential spaces; the fronds, which feature private villas; and the outer crescent, known for its luxury resorts and upscale accommodations. Constructed through land reclamation, the Palm Jumeirah was developed by Dutch company Van Oord, which also created Dubai’s "The World" islands. Construction began in 2001, and the first residential properties were handed over in 2006. By 2009, 28 hotels were operational along the crescent, establishing the Palm as a leading luxury destination. Although a 2009 report suggested a slight subsidence, the developer, Nakheel Properties, dismissed concerns about structural integrity, noting the minimal rate of sinking detected by NASA’s laser altimeter. The Palm Jumeirah is also notable for its transportation infrastructure, especially the Palm Jumeirah Monorail. This 5.4-kilometer monorail connects the Atlantis Hotel to the Gateway Towers at the island's entrance, with plans for a future extension to the Dubai Metro Red Line. Opened in 2009, it is the first monorail in the Middle East and offers both residents and visitors a convenient, scenic route across the island."

"As the sun sets over JBR, embark on a scenic journey by taking the monorail from JLT station to the iconic Palm Dubai. Every half hour, prepare to be mesmerized by an impressive fountain show with the magnificent Atlantis, one of Dubai's most exclusive hotels, serving as a captivating backdrop. The synchronized water jets, dancing in harmony with the music, create a spectacle that will leave you in awe. Keep your ears open during the show, as you might even recognize a song in your own language, adding a touch of familiarity to this enchanting experience. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the beauty of the fountains and the stunning surroundings, creating memories that will last a lifetime."
"Visit The Palm and spend a day in the Atlantis waterpark. This is a no-brainer as it is the place Dubai is most famous for, I recommend to go to “The View at the Palm” to enjoy one of the best views you will get to see in Dubai."
