Hôtel Odéon Saint Germain

"We stayed at the hotel for years and years enough so at one point the staff all knew our name. The location is fab and quite close to Jardin du Luxembourg and all the cute shops and things in St Germain. The decor is quite a bit of velvet but very comfortable. It’s been a while since I was there but I do believe at one point they had a room with a fab steam room. So it’s worth a check. Breakfasts are continental and didn’t change much the entire time we stayed there. There isn’t much of a lobby to relax in but they do have this and a nice fire in the winter. The prices are slightly on the more expensive side but with the area it’s understandable. Some of our favourite restaurants in the area include: Le Comptoir du Relais and Les Éditeurs. If you cross the street to the other side of the Odeon metro stop there’s loads of lovely side streets to wander through "
