Ok, I admit, being Italian has its strengths and weaknesses. One of the biggest problems I have (and which I attribute to my nationality) is the fact that food is my Achilles heel. I can't help it. If I find something I like, I not only eat and cook it often, but I try to get all my friends to try it. In the beginning it was paella. Then I discovered that in Barcelona the best places to eat are the most unthinkable. Those you wouldn't give two bucks to, the taverns that compete with the worst bars in Caracas if you know what I mean. One of my favorite places is #barceltapulperia with its two locations one near the Mercé church and one in the Mercat del Born area: the best octopus in Barcelona for me. "

"The specialty is octopus 🐙. Grab a plate and some other tapas. Simple, but really good Galician-style restaurant. There is also one in the Gothic Quarter. "
