"Sitting in front of the Rectory of the University of Porto, this small exquisite fountain was built in France back in 1886 and served as a source of drinkable water for this area of the city centre.
Renovated in the spring of 2023, its was brought back to its original glory after decades of natural decay by exposure to the elements. "

""Fountain of the Lions" is located in the centre, near the Torre dos Clérigos, Igreja do Carmo and the building of Porto University. It is not that important monument but I think it´s good to see it. Besides you will definitely see it because there is a really busy area for tourists."
