What people say

"Kasr Aït Benhaddou is one of a series of fortified, mud-brick villages in the Dra'a Valley. As it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and located close to the film industry of Ouarzazate, Aït Benhaddou happens to be the most in tact and well restored of the Kasr's. A walk around the village and different areas will illuminate a long history as its location on the caravan trails. The Kasbah, Mellah, Granary at the top of the hill, and other parts of the village all provide a great opportunity to see an ancient way of life up close. You may even be invited into the home of a local (they will likely look for a small 10 durham tip for this service). You'll also get great views of the constructed filming sites used for shows and movies like Game of Thrones. Note to all - if you go anytime after April it will be very hot during the day, especially if you climb to the top of the Kasr. Just be prepared"
