After calling Denver, CO for 5 years, I've accumulated a pretty large list of favorites in the city that I love recommending to visitors! While Denver doesn't have the same foodie recognition that many large cities do, there are some fantastic gems in the different neighborhoods that deserve more recognition!

Denver proudly boasts of an overwhelming 150 breweries in the city, but not all of the breweries are worth a visit. This guide will help you narrow down where to grab an afternoon beer, post up for the evening, or watch the sunrise (there is a specific bar for that). In addition, each location's happy hour and food options are noted with details about vegetarian options. If you are looking for a rowdy night out, one of these might serve as your first stop but not the main event. 2. I limited each section to 5 locations. However, there are definitely many great establishments that did not make the cut, especially in the "Bar" category. There is a huge variety of excellent bars in Denver. It offers great walkability, some top food options, and a trendy area with admirable architecture.
