"This was my first ever wine tasting experience and I had absolutely no clue about anything wine related. The beautiful surroundings and the fancy vibe made me feel like I am in fact a wine expert. After the wine tour I was definitely more knowledgeable than before. The best part of the whole experience is that you could take your wine glass outside the actual tasting area and wander around the garden with it. The wine glass was included in the ticket price and I got to take it home with me which makes quite a good souvenir. "

"Groot Constantia is the oldest wine farm in the area and I also think it has the nicest wine. It doesn’t have the same epic views as Beau Constantia from the tasting garden, but the pretty Cape Dutch buildings and resident ducks make up for it. You don’t usually need to book a tasting at Groot Constantia, and if you visit on the hop-on hop-off wine bus (which I highly recommend, by the way!) then this will be your first stop"
