"Visit Löwenbräukeller if you are interested in experiencing one of Munich’s big six Helles beers first hand.This brewery/restaurant/beer garden is beautiful and chock full of history. Although I would describe the food itself as good not great, the convienent location is excellent for the museum focused tourist. Located centrally near the Munich train station and Königsplatz, Löwenbräukeller is a great stop after a day spent exploring Munich’s most popular museums. Tourists interested in the neighbourhoods museums (Glyptothek, Alte Pinakothek, Paleontological Museum, Museum of Egyptian Art, or Lenbachhaus) can rest east knowing they have a nearby classic beer garden with which to end the day. So, to conclude, if you are looking for a historical and museum friendly Bavarian beer experience, look no further than Löwenbräukeller! Personal Anecdote: We stop here all the time for a beer before we head to the English movie theatre down the street. The outdoor seating is really nice, and Löwenbräau is my second favourite Munich Helles. "
