"If I had to give an average tourist only *one* café to go to when visiting the Hague, then I would without a doubt recommend the Bookstor Café! It was the first place I brought my family when they came out to visit me, and the place my friends and I always found ourselves returning to. It's a book store and a café all in one! What's not to love! They have a decent pastry selection and wonderful espresso drinks. However, I would say it's less about the quality of the coffee served and more about the ambiance! You're definitely paying for the experience, and you won't be disappointed. There is a variety of seating, books stacked everywhere, soothing lamps/alternative lighting, and art! My personal favorite spot to sit is the back patio. There are plants sprawling all around, creating the most picturesque landscape. If you want some cute pictures, you'll get them here! (p.s. they don't have a menu anywhere in the café, you'll have to ask the barista taking your order any menu questions you may have)"

"Enjoy a coffee or tea in this laidback café that's over a 100 years old. You can of course buy books at Bookstor, but most people come here to chat, work, or enjoy a coffee with a pastry. Of course you can also bring your own book. The people at Bookstor don't mind if you stay for a couple of hours after ordering a single drink. It's truly a living room in the heart of Den Haag. To change it up, Lola Coffee & Bikes is a great alternative. It’s located just a few doors down on the same street."
