"One location which I unfortunately didnโt have time to visit but wanted to share, is the Monastery of Pedralbes. The site was once an active gothic monastery, which was built in the early 14th century and was founded by Queen Elisenda de Montcada. The short construction period of just one year meant that the architecture features the pure Catalan gothic style. Now open to the public as a museum the complex invites guests to learn more about the history surrounding the site, whilst also exhibiting sacred art pieces from the 14th to 20th century. The Monastery is certainly a place I would love to visit on my next visit to Barcelona. "
