"A note from Radka 📝 "Dobrý den and Hello, dear travellers! I am a local Czech girl living in beautiful Prague. I wanted to make a recording of basic Czech phrases to help you navigate the city and also to help you try and speak a little Czech. We Czechs love hearing you try speaking our language as we know it's a difficult language. Czech contains a lot of consonants so many words may feel quite hard to pronounce. However, one thing is quite "easy", all letters in Czech are pronounced the way we write them -- unlike in English. So if the letter "a" sounds like "a" in the word "ask", it will always sound like that in Czech no matter the word. I hope the recording helps!"
