"This is a very nice RV and tent campground in Grand Isle, Vermont, on the shore of Lake Champlain. It's run by a gentleman and his wife who have a really nice house on the property. It's well cared for, and the hosts are very friendly,
They cater mainly to older guests, so there aren't any children there, but they didn't object to having my 19 year old son as a guest.
The campground has been there for a while, and it felt like a somewhat exclusive and well-manicured best-kept secret. We found out about it by word of mouth; someone we met in Grafton, Vermont, recommended it. It was very spacious, with access to Lake Champlain, with a landing offering a place for one to enjoy the sunset, and watching the ferries pass, to and from New York.
It was a wonderful camping experience on Lake Champlain, and we wouldn't hesitate to return!"
