"In Turin’s heart, Consorzio blends tradition and innovation with unpretentious charm. Rustic wooden furnishings and contemporary art create a cozy, welcoming vibe. The menu celebrates Piedmontese cuisine with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Highlights include agnolotti del plin, delicate meat-filled pasta, and finanziera, a rich, traditional stew, all crafted with respect for heritage and modern techniques.
The wine list features natural and biodynamic labels from small Italian vineyards, expertly paired by knowledgeable staff. At around €50 per person, it’s exceptional value. Popular with locals and visitors alike, reservations are a must.
Consorzio is more than a meal—it’s an immersion into Piedmont’s rich culinary traditions with a modern twist and stands out as a must visit destination.

"A Michelin Guide-listed restaurant in the heart of the city, Ristorante Consorzio offers traditional Piemontese cuisine with a modern twist, using local, seasonal ingredients. The restaurant has a simple and elegant atmosphere, with two dining rooms that are decorated in a classic yet contemporary style.
The menu at Ristorante Consorzio features a wide variety of Piemontese dishes, such as agnolotti del plin (pasta filled with meat and vegetables), risotto al Barolo (risotto cooked with Barolo wine), and brasato al Barolo (beef braised in Barolo wine). The wine list is extensive and features a wide selection of Piemontese wines."

"Friends of mine swear by the cow’s vagina at Consorzio. This place is cool all the gastronomes would agree and some have even worked there over the years! Food is good heaps of offal on the menu and meat in general. Wine is mainly natural and they like to be a little left of centre with most things including the service. - Really popular with locals and tourist alike. It should be on your list if you are in Turino for a few nights and book ahead. "
