Visiting this establishment is one of the most deeply rooted traditions among Yucatecans and visitors. There are several locations, although the main ones are at the Plaza Grande and the Paseo de Montejo. I recommend the last one, which has a larger open space under the trees that line the avenue. Another recommendation is to try out the local tropical fruit flavors offered. Mamey is among the most popular; soursop is another common option.
