"Cenote Xkeken is a closed cenote with a small opening at the top that allows sunlight to enter. It has a deep, bright blue color, with water that is shallow and clear.
Its name, in the Mayan language, means “pig” because, according to legend, it was discovered when a farmer followed his pig to this underground cavity.
The entrance is narrow, and you descend via stairs, which leads to a comfortable open platform with access to the water. It is open to the public from 8 am to 5:45 pm, with an entrance fee of 150 pesos, plus 50 for the use of a lifevest."
