"Ourika Valley is in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, one of the most important mountain ranges in all of Africa.
It's a typical getaway for Moroccans and it allows you to inmerse yourself in the Moroccan way of life.
You can enjoy the beautiful roadtrip up the mountain and then have a traditional Moroccan lunch by a lovely clear-water river (you can swim in the river too) before going on a hike up the valley towards the Ourika waterfall.
The hike is very accessible to everyone, but remember to bring enough water on summer days. The views of the mountains in this hike are absolutely incredible. At the end of the hike you'll reach a spectacular watefall.
If I had to recommend one day trip to someone who staying in Marrakech, it would be this one for sure."

"A famed spot in the Atlas Mountains, the waterfalls of Ourika is a serene place of natural beauty. The Ourika River that flows through the town offers a great place to rest and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains and take a walk through the area. There are also numerous cafes right along the river, draped with traditional carpets and filled with local hospitality."
