"Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia is famous for both its cuisine and the unique setting, an artistic and architectural project of Paolo Ferrari, in which performances combine culinary art, theatre, and fine art. A slick makeover, complete with mid-century furniture in neutral tones may leave this dining room looking very modern, but the hospitality is every inch as traditional as when Aimo and Nadia opened the restaurant opened in 1962. Although the couple is no longer at the helm of the restaurant, their style of cuisine is echoed by their daughter Stefania alongside two excellent Chefs Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini who maintained the restaurant’s tradition of creating Italian regional dishes with a modern twist. Two Michelin stars since 1990, signature dishes such as semolina durum wheat served simply with spring onions and a touch of red chili sit alongside the more daring 'territories' menu, which changes daily."
