What people say

"Located near La Latina metro station this minimalist-designed space takes up the number one on this list as the first cafe that fully stole my heart in Madrid. Offering perfectly flavoured coffee, along with some yummy cakes and food suitable for vegans&vegeterians. Baristas are friendly, the playlist is great, place is pet friendly and you can also bring your lap top.(Do have in mind that the space is quite small and that seats are not the most comfortable ones.) Ruda also organizes workshops and intresting events occasionally which you can track on their social media, and in their digital store you can purchase coffee beans, tea, coffee making kit, tote bags, etc. Prices for coffee start at 2€. "
"I really love this little hole-in-the-wall. It was the first coffee shop I went to in Madrid and the people who work there are incredibly kind. I also appreciate that the local crowd I tend to see there is almost always locals. Beware that the coffee is on the stronger side, but good! Their prices are also great and they don't charge extra for alternative milks, plus the food (especially the baked goods) are really, really good. Also, there's only like 1 and a half real tables but you CAN work on a laptop there if you're lucky enough to snag a decent seat. "
