"In the heart of Little Italy in San Diego lies Craft & Commerce, an iconic cocktail bar and restaurant that serves as a shining beacon in the city's vibrant nightlife. As part of the respected Consortium Holdings group, this establishment has long been a mainstay in the bar industry, owing to its captivating cocktail list, an ever-changing seasonal menu, and a staff renowned for their expertise.
Craft & Commerce exudes a captivating charm, harmoniously blending contemporary design elements with an old-world ambience. Exposed brick walls and wooden tables set the stage, while the sight of impressive taxidermied African wildlife - lionesses and antelope, fascinatingly sourced from museum exhibits, contribute to the eclectic yet inviting atmosphere.
The outdoor patio, comfortably seating about 40 patrons, offers a more intimate, relaxed setting, perfect for those seeking to escape the indoor bustle. Due to the bar's popularity with locals and tourists alike, it's advisable to make reservations, particularly on weekends. Open for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, the kitchen generously serves its culinary delights until the stroke of midnight.
Craft & Commerce's menu showcases its dedication to quality and innovation. As a seasoned patron, my drink of choice is the Eastern Prospector - a creative cocktail masterfully mixed by the bar's talented mixologists. The cocktails, like the seasons, are ever-evolving, each one a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients that deliver a symphony of flavor in every sip.
The food menu equally mirrors the seasons, boasting dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients. From delectable small plates to salads and entrees, the offerings at Craft & Commerce cater to an array of palates.
One unique feature that distinguishes Craft & Commerce from other bars is The False Idol, a hidden tiki-themed speakeasy tucked within the premises. This secret oasis offers an enchanting departure from the main bar's vibe, further enhancing the appeal of Craft & Commerce.
With a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere, and staff that are as amiable as they are knowledgeable, Craft & Commerce promises a delightful evening. Whether you're planning a laid-back outing with friends or a romantic dinner, Craft & Commerce stands as a hallmark of San Diego's bar scene."

"A trendy Little Italy hotspot with cozy fire-side tables, a banging happy hour, and a speakeasy (False Idol) inside for after hours fun. Happy hour is Mon-Thurs 4-5pm, Fri 3-5.
Recs: The burger (it's famous!) the tartare, the cornbread. All of their cocktails are delicious, but my favorite is the Apple of my Eye! "
