Three kilometres outside Positano (with a shuttle service available on request), this is one of the most popular restaurants in the region. And for good reason. The history of the Taverna began quite some time ago, with Giuseppe Guida - Positanese DOC born 1921 - who managed his restaurant with dedication throughout his life and made it, together with his family, a historical trademark of this coast. Today at the helm are Antonio, son of Giuseppe who started the business, and his daughter-in-law Fortunata, the beating soul of the restaurant department. The menu features local dishes with abundant Slow Food Presidia products and fresh fish to be tried in delicious tartare as well as some good solid traditional pizza."
