Dog Mountain Trail

"Type: Hike Level: Easy-Moderate Bus: No It's really a shame that Dog Mountain is not accessible by public transport, because as a view/effort ratio, it's unbeatable! It barely has any incline as you already start at the top of Mount Seymour ski resort. It is a little technical though, with lots of rocks and roots, but it's very manageable. Once you make it to the end, you get a panoramic view of the whole Lower Mainland, Grouse Mountain, and if you're lucky with clear skies, Mount Baker in the distance. When I did this hike the weather wasn't the best, but I was actually in the clouds, which was still super cool and moody! It's also a great option for sunset, but a headlamp is a must have! "
