"The Florence duomo is a must. You can get tickets to climb to the top of it, which I highly recommend doing. I think you can get tickets through GetYourGuide or their website. It's good to purchase the tickets ahead of time. The tickets will give you a designated time to enter and climb up, and it has the most amazing views. I think I bought a ticket from the duomo website that allowed me to go up, and then it also came with a ticket to visit the smaller John the Baptist church. "

"Also known as the Duomo Cathedral, this majestic structure set the scene for the Italian Renaissance and went on to inspire a legion of architects and artists on the continent. Moreover, the cathedral was built in dedication to the Virgin of Flowers and remains an important landmark for both locals and tourists."
