This route will take you to all the jewels of the Esquiline hill, one of the traditional “seven hills of Rome,” that lie within the ancient walls. The Esquiline rises up to the northeast from the valley where the Colosseum sits. The area has been inhabited since the 6th century BC.

This walking tour will take you from Centro Storico out towards the Colosseum, giving you a taste of Ancient Rome along the way.
