"Da Garibardi is a well-regarded trattoria situated in the lively San Lorenzo district of Florence, near the central market. Renowned for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant offers a delightful blend of traditional Tuscan hospitality and contemporary comfort. The interior is charmingly rustic, featuring wooden furnishings, exposed brick walls, and vintage decor that evoke a sense of the city's rich cultural heritage.
The menu at Da Garibardi is a celebration of Tuscan and Florentine cuisine, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Diners can enjoy an array of regional specialties such as pappa al pomodoro, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and the iconic bistecca alla Fiorentina. The restaurant also caters to dietary preferences with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Complementing the food is an excellent selection of local wines, carefully curated to enhance the dining experience. Known for its friendly service and authentic dishes, Da Garibardi is a favorite spot for those looking to savor the true flavors of Tuscany in a cozy and inviting setting."

"I've been gradually eating my way through Trattoria da Garibardi's gluten free menu and love everything I've tried! I'm a big fan of their pappardelle all'anatra (pasta with duck sauce). For appetizers, I highly recommend trying the polpettine della nonna Tina (meatballs in red sauce with GF bread) and the ficattole crudo e stracchino (fried GF pizza dough with cheese and proscuitto). Plus, you can't have dinner here without getting some gluten free tiramisu for dessert.
Make sure to let them know you have celiac disease when making a reservation and they'll give you a black GF menu when seating you. "
