"I had the pleasure of dining at I Banchi restaurant in Ragusa, and it was a great experience. The fact that it's led by Ciccio Sultano, the two Michelin starred chef from Duomo Restaurant, certainly raised my expectations, and I wasn't disappointed.
Despite being a more casual restaurant, the food at I Banchi is still of the highest quality, with a focus on carefully sourcing fresh ingredients. The pastas, meat, fish, and vegetables are selected from entirely trusted purveyors and transformed from the greatest Sicilian culinary traditions into modern masterpieces.
I particularly enjoyed trying the scacce ragusane, a typical Ragusan bread loaded with ingredients like tomato, eggplant, grated cheese, spinach, and caciocavallo cheese. Thumbs up for the revisited version of the Palermitan sfincione with its roasted onions, tomato concentrate, cheese, and bread crumbs, all topped off with sliced tomatoes.
Overall, I highly recommend I Banchi, especially for those who want to try unique and delicious Sicilian cuisine in a more casual setting."

"In addition to being a well-stocked shop of sweet and savory delicacies, a restaurant, and bar of the highest level, I Banchi, the restaurant of acclaimed chef Ciccio Sultano, is also a bakery with a well-stocked counter always full of excellent products from the oven.
The ideal place to taste a slice of pizza, sfincione, scacce, tomasini and rustic pies, but also sandwiches from a large menu and platters of cold cuts and cheeses.
Espeically pleasant for the Italian custom of "aperitivo" (something to drink and something to eat, before dinner or as a light dinner), combining the bartender's cocktails, beer, or glasses of wine with a parade of delicious Italian-style tapas, organic bread with ancient grains, arancinette, seafood preserves and other delicacies."
