"This is a fine-dining Indian restaurant, they have many locations but they all give me the same vibe: dim lights, Bombay years 30s, expensive - I love it!
It is always so busy that I have to wait in a queue even on a Tuesday! They usually are so nice to bring over a chai while you are waiting outside and then move you to the bar for half of your waiting time left, so that you can start warming up or cooling down, get a drink and start chilling.
With alcohol, the bill can easily get higher than £35pp, but I've been there having just one drink and it was cheaper than that, and even had to bring food home as we were so full!
Quality is so good, I always try different things and keep discovering dishes I love! Like, would you ever order lentils in a restaurant? I would never, before I tried the ones in there, and then BOOM - loved them! "

"Inspired by the Irani cafés of Bombay, Dishoom is a London favorite. Affordable yet stylish, try their small plates like Pau Bhaji or the famous Biryani for a satisfying end to your day."

"Suggestion from Thatch, 9 locations. £10 rolls, £12 entrees, £16 biryani, £4 naan, affordable small plates. Also has breakfast."
